The implementation of this supervision is to ensure that the Labkesda building is built with the DAK budget and medical equipment (SPA). A policy analysis by the young expert of the Ministry of Health in Indonesia, Munir Wahyudi, said that the budget offered through the consultation is in line with the development of Labkesda with a biosafety level 2 (BSL-2) laboratory room with negative pressure, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and HEPA filters.
In fact, he said, the government should fund and equip all laboratories in Indonesia in the future. Including Labkesda Sinjai Regency prepared for laboratory monitoring. "To anticipate the future when there is a pandemic, we hope that Labkesda will be able to assess laboratory surveillance," he said. In principle, Munir added that the management of Labkesda should be more professional, especially since the Ministry of Public Health always pays attention.
"As for the equipment and tools, we have prepared them, now they are in the process of development. Hopefully, Labkesda's human resources can use the equipment and tools to develop health programs in Sinjai Regency," he concluded.
